The transcriptions are as good as they get, for as far as they go; therein lies one of my few criticisms. The excerpts provided are variable, from the comprehensive (Black Magic Woman) to the abbreviated -- for example, the solo for Purple Haze is only about half of that most famous of introductory riffs, and that's one song that's littered with repeated phrases that, for a Hendrix composition, are unusually accessible to the average guitarist. Overall I'd say you have a winning concept with a useful riff learning tool that is educational, attractive, and entertaining.”

I think this is fantastic - the format, the way you break it down to different files for different solo sections, and the real guitar playing and above all the price. I have been looking for something like this for Reelin' in the Years forever. Terrific stuff. You should definitely add some more of the Texas Flood solo, and maybe try Hendrix's Red House?

Hi guys - for some reason you never got my reply but I definitely gave you a thumbs up for this site, its got to be one of the best I seen and I’ve been looking at a lot. It’s great for beginners and something every advanced guitar player is looking for so keep up the good work and I hope everybody gets a chance to use this site it's the best.

I teach guitar….
I am pleased that you have this service. I teach guitar, but I mostly play bluegrass. For my students that like rock guitar, all I have to do is let them pick a song from your list, learn it myself and off we go. The only problem is that I can’t print it. It would be nice if you had a printer friendly tab. Also some country or bluegrass would be ok. Thanks and keep on picking.
