I am just writing to say that once I eventually worked out how to use it, it is simplicity itself, and I am living proof that it is simple for blind people to use as well.

Without a shadow of a doubt I will be ordering all and any CD's that you bring out, it is the most perfect way of learning guitar lead that I have ever seen.

Finally, I would like to thank you for all the help I was given along the way, and hope that you bring out many more CD's. Thank you

Scottie

Derek & the Dominoes
Derek & the Dominoes was the creation of blues-rock superstar Eric Clapton after the unfortunate demise of super group Blind Faith and power trio Cream. Clapton got together with Bobby Whitlock (keyboard), Carl Radle (bass), and Jim Gordon (drums) to form Derek & the Dominoes and recorded one of the most sensational albums of his career. "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" was released in late 1970 and climbed to Gold album status within 8 months. Renowned slide guitarist Duane Allman collaborated with Eric to create what can be termed as "magical mystery sounds" of hard rock, steaming blues and wailing solos that echo an outburst of pain and emotion.
The Rolling Stone Magazine writer, Dave Marsh's annotations about the album and the title track "Layla" remain one of the greatest comments in the history of rock journalism. Writing for The Rolling Stone Illustrated History of Rock and Roll, Marsh says about Clapton, "there are few moments in the repertoire of recorded rock where a singer or writer has reached so deeply into himself that the effect of hearing them is akin to witnessing a murder, or a suicide... to me, 'Layla' is the greatest of them."
"Layla" is one the most unique recordings ever that spans over seven minutes and stands like a solid rock 36 years later. Derek & the Dominoes guitar riff in "Layla" is simply stunning and truly out of this world. Clapton managed to howl out his pain and frustrations about secret love with Patti Boyd Harrison; then married to his best pal George Harrison. To conceal real identities, Clapton transformed himself into Derek, and Pattie Boyd Harrison became Layla; a name Clapton borrowed from ancient saga of true love "The Story of Layla and Majnun," by the Persian poet Nizami. Layla's dueling guitar introduction with Duane Allman is the centerpiece of the recording. A superb teamwork by the Dominoes helped Clapton complete this masterpiece, which became a hit second time when Clapton re-recorded the unplugged version in 1992. Clapton and Pattie Boyd Harrison eventually married and later divorced but the legend of Derek and Layla lives on.
In 1987, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs was chosen by a panel of rock critics and music broadcasters as the #92 best rock album of all time. The editors of Rolling Stone magazine selected it as the 115th greatest album of all times in Dec. 2003. This album by Derek & the Dominoes has an amazing collection of Clapton genius that includes Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing" and a host of other hits like "Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad," "Key to the Highway," "Have You Ever Loved a Woman". Nothing will be complete without the mention of instinctive vocal and instrumental arrangements that dominate the monumental "Layla." The song remains the only lengthy rock-radio standard that still stands up 36 years later as a guiding lighthouse of rock classics. Every rock-and-roll fan knows the song, from the slashing dual-guitar lead introduction of Clapton and Duane Allman to the pain pouring vocals that send a chills up the spines of everyone.
