I am just writing to say that once I eventually worked out how to use it, it is simplicity itself, and I am living proof that it is simple for blind people to use as well.

Without a shadow of a doubt I will be ordering all and any CD's that you bring out, it is the most perfect way of learning guitar lead that I have ever seen.

Finally, I would like to thank you for all the help I was given along the way, and hope that you bring out many more CD's. Thank you

Scottie

Edgar Winter
The genius of Edgar Winter is an amazing phenomenon that spans over almost five decades. He is a classic example of gifted child who wrote his own destiny to become a musician and a superstar. With intense interest in rock, blues and jazz, Edgar Winter was quick to develop his skills in playing various instruments, writing songs and composing them. Born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, he decided to leave home and traveled to New York to join his elder brother Johnny Winter, (inducted into Blues Foundation Hall of Fame in 1988) who had started his career in music at the age of 15. Music was in family's blood and the parents John and Edwina Winter recognized the talents of both sons during their early childhood.
Journey to the Big Apple was the starting point of a "Music Monster" in the making. Edgar Winter gave a solid proof of his talent by doing a dazzling version of "Tobacco Road" that brought him instantaneous nationwide fame. He emerged as a star attraction, drawing raving reviews from amazed audiences and critics alike. Record companies were after him and he eventually signed up with Epic Records for his debut album, which was appropriately titled as "Entrance". The album was a novel concept in jazz and was acclaimed as a big commercial success. This was the "entrance" of the mastermind into the world of music that created a storm and an incessant stream of fans all across the world that would follow him to eternity.
Soon after the release of Entrance, Edgar Winter formed the group White Trash with his old friend Jerry La Croix. With Edgar's progressively growing popularity as one of the outstanding live performers, White Trash toured all over to sell out crowds. Within a short time span, White Trash successfully released several albums, including the gold double live album, Roadwork. But the group broke up and Edgar got together with well-known musicians Dan Hartman, Ronnie Montrose and Chuck Ruff to record new album "They Only Come Out At Night." This monstrous album released in 1973 featured smash hits "Frankenstein" and "Free Ride", climbing to #1 and selling more than two million copies in a short time. The songs from this unparalleled, commercially successful album can be heard on classic rock stations even today, more than three decades later.
Edgar Winter is always trying to explore unique ways of playing instruments and experimenting with creative sounds that no other musician can match. He demonstrated his talents by being one of the very first to use synthesizers in his music. "Frankenstein", remains a legendary song to feature synthesizer as a lead instrument. He opened the doors for many other musicians with his early use of synthesizers in live performances. Edgar Winter is well known for inventing the very first body strap for the handheld keyboard.
After They Only Come Out At Night, Edgar released Shock Treatment, featuring outstanding guitarist Rick Derringer. The other albums include solo album Jasmine Nightdreams, Together Standing On Rock and The Edgar Winter Album. In 1990, Edgar re-united with Rick Derringer for the first time in 15 years to record the concert album Live In Japan, and performed together what is called the White Lightnin' World Tour. With many more albums to his credit, the legend of Edgar Winter lives on.
