I am just writing to say that once I eventually worked out how to use it, it is simplicity itself, and I am living proof that it is simple for blind people to use as well.

Without a shadow of a doubt I will be ordering all and any CD's that you bring out, it is the most perfect way of learning guitar lead that I have ever seen.

Finally, I would like to thank you for all the help I was given along the way, and hope that you bring out many more CD's. Thank you

Scottie

Foreigner - Feels Like the First Time
The story of "Feels Like the First Time" can be termed as overnight success of a British classic rock band with the release of their self-titled debut album "Foreigner." This is one of those rare accomplishments that only a handful of AOR (Album Oriented Rock) musicians have enjoyed in the history of rock'n roll music. The mastermind behind this song is well known musician Mick Jones, who teamed up with compatriot Ian McDonald and four others Dennis Elliott, and Americans Ed Gagliardi, Lou Gramm and Alan Greenwood who were relatively novices to the arena of rock music, to form the band in 1976. Less than a year after the formation, the group released their first album in March 1977, which gave them two top-ten hit singles within a very short time span. "Feels Like the First Time", the very first track of the album was one of them and "Cold as Ice" was the other big hit.
This unanticipated and instant success of the debut album amazed everyone including the recording company management (Atlantic) and the group members. This was the beginning of a new era in the history of classic rock that eventually amalgamated pop, rock and heavy metal into an amazing blend where it became hard to distinguish the boundaries of various musical styles.
The smooth vocals and catchy Feels Like the First Time guitar riff were the song's highlights that formed followers of "Foreigner" all across the world. Sometimes, overnight success is accompanied by mind-boggling trials and tribulations. The unparalleled success of "Feels Like the First Time" did just that for the group. Atlantic Records wanted the group to promote the album immediately by going on the road and performing live, which became a dilemma for AOR rockers who had no luxury of time to do any kind of serious planning or practice.
The group went out and did remarkably well by being natural; performing in front of roaring crowds and trying to establish their style in a manner that would match the success of their mega hits like "Feels Like the First Time" and others. These humble artists were very honest about any shortcomings in their own minds and Dennis Elliott's frank admission says it all - "We grew up in front of the public and made all our mistakes in front of crowds of kids". In spite of the turmoil and commotion, the group remained in high spirits and played their music for the fans that did not seem to care about their mistakes.
Feels Like the First Time guitar lead is one of the prominent features of the song that delighted the fans of heavy metal and hard rock music alike. Even denim clad metal heads were quick to admire this great classic rock. With all round success of "Feels Like the First Time" and "Cold as Ice", Foreigner gave a kick-start to the re-establishment of rock era in the late 70's when punk explosion was trying to take over the immortal art. The song went out to prove to the world that genuine rock'n roll would always be relevant and remain immensely popular no matter what type of music tries to invade.
