I am just writing to say that once I eventually worked out how to use it, it is simplicity itself, and I am living proof that it is simple for blind people to use as well.

Without a shadow of a doubt I will be ordering all and any CD's that you bring out, it is the most perfect way of learning guitar lead that I have ever seen.

Finally, I would like to thank you for all the help I was given along the way, and hope that you bring out many more CD's. Thank you

Scottie

Edgar Winter - Free Ride
Free Ride is a beautiful classic rock song with some deep philosophy behind it. The lyrics are short and sweet but convey very deep and meaningful thoughts of the writer that touches everyone's heart. The creators of the song is the legendary Edgar Winter Group and it is one of the most distinguished tracks from their 1973 album "They Only Come Out at Night" which featured the #1 hit instrumental "Frankenstein" and "Free Ride;" which reached number 14 that same year. The song's popularity has been immense and it was featured in the movie "Dazed and Confused." Christian rock band Audio Adrenaline also did a rendition of Free Ride on their 1996 album Bloom. Free Ride was written by Dan Hartman and performed by the Edgar Winter Group, formed by one of the greatest musicians of all times; Edgar Winter.
Producer of Free Ride, Edgar Winter (born December 28, 1946 in Beaumont, Texas) is a multi-talented music genius who was born with music in his blood and musical instruments in his mouth. He remains one of the greatest keyboard player, vocalist, saxophonist, percussionist and in addition, well versed in jazz, blues and rock music even today. He is the second son of John and Edwina Winter, who were very much responsible for carving out the talents of Edgar and his older brother Johnny Winter. Both of them suffered from albinism but that did not matter in their careers and they are hailed as lords of music.
As teens Edgar and Johnny (three years older than Edgar) were doing gigs at some of the local joints. The two played in R&B and Blues groups, which were Johnny and the Jammers, The Crystaliers and The Black Plague. Edgar kept getting proficient on Keyboards, bass, guitar and drums and eventually ready to be on his own. Edgar Winters got the big break when Epic Records signed him in 1970. After recording many albums, Edgar formed his own group in 1972 called The Edgar Winter Group, which included Dan Hartman, Ronnie Montrose and Chuck Ruff. It was with this band that he had his biggest success in 1973 with the album "They Only Come Out at Night" when he dashed to fame and popularity with mega hits "Frankenstein" and "Free Ride" reaching the top of billboard charts in May of 1973. It followed by album Shock Treatment that created a sensation all over the world featuring another big hit "Easy Street".
With over 20 albums and many major hit singles, Edgar Winter will not stop to bring the most appealing music for his fans. In 2006, Winter joined Hamish Stuart, Rod Argent, Richard Marx, Billy Squier, and Sheila E touring with Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band. The group played in jam packed auditoriums and left the crowds roaring for more and more. Edgar Winter's presence was sufficient to create a storm and faithful fans of "Free Ride" proved once again that they would follow him to eternity.
