I am just writing to say that once I eventually worked out how to use it, it is simplicity itself, and I am living proof that it is simple for blind people to use as well.

Without a shadow of a doubt I will be ordering all and any CD's that you bring out, it is the most perfect way of learning guitar lead that I have ever seen.

Finally, I would like to thank you for all the help I was given along the way, and hope that you bring out many more CD's. Thank you

Scottie

Deep Purple - Highway Star
Highway Star is one of the most talked about Speed Metal songs that created a deep impact on the history of British as well as the American rock scene. It is probably one of its kind in which five band members put in their greatest effort to write the lyrics. Richie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Ian Paice, Jon Lord, and Roger Glover of the famous Deep Purple were involved in creating this great classical. Highway Star is reminiscent of wild classic "Born To Be Wild" by Steppenwolf and other famous driving songs in rock music, "Radar Love."
Most of the fans of speed and heavy metal consider this the first "Speed Metal" song, which remains as one of Deep Purple's most famous songs. Highway Star guitar lick is one of the main characteristics of the song that will be remembered by all music lovers for years to come. The song's popularity is reflected by the fact that it has been featured in several episodes of That '70s Show and an instrumental version was used for the Silicon and Synapse game Rock N' Roll Racing. Phenomenal Highway Star guitar solo has been ranked 8th greatest rock guitar solo of all time. That's not all; Highway Star band tab features the finest in organ solo as well.
The song is about a man and his passion for high-powered super exotic cars that can outrace any other car anytime. Highway Star's inception is quite an interesting story that started during a bus tour when a reporter asked vocalist Ian Gillan how the band wrote songs and composed music. He asked for a title and then Roger Glover wrote out the basis of the song and Gillan created vocals. The group created the song and the music that same night. Highway Star originally appeared on Deep Purple's 1972 album Machine Head and was an instantaneous hit.
Highway Star's creator Deep Purple is one of the first and foremost heavy metal bands from London, England since1968. The band's name Deep Purple was taken from the title of a song composed by Peter De Rose. The group has gone through many transitions since their formation but they have continued on to produce some of the greatest in hard rock and heavy metal. Together with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Deep Purple laid the groundwork for what is now called heavy metal music, although at the time, the phrase did not even exist. In spite of all the changes, the group has gone through, Deep Purple remains one of the most famous and influential hard rock bands in the present day history. Today, Deep Purple steadfastly carries on their mark as one of history's most imaginative and longest-living hard rock and heavy metal bands.
Besides great Highway Star guitar music and organ solo, Deep Purple guitar riff from their biggest hit " Smoke on the water" remains #1 in Digital Dreamdoor's 100 Greatest Rock Guitar Riffs. The song is known for one of the most appealing guitar leads that is perhaps the single most legendary song in hard rock history.
